05:54 PM ET 12.30 | It was a move that nearly everyone expected to happen and we didn't need to wait until Black Monday to hear the news. Multiple reports are indicating that Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffery Lurie informed head coach Andy Reid the team will be going in a different direction shortly after finishing their season off with another embarrassing loss. Philadelphia fell to the division rival New York Giants by a score of 42-7. During the Eagles' post game press conference, Reid seemed to accept that he would be moving on. "I take complete blame for the year," Reid told the media. "There'll be better days ahead. [Lurie has] always done what's best for the Eagles, and whatever decision he makes will be the right one." Philadelphia will now begin their first head coaching search since 1999. The 54-year-old Los Angeles naive hopes to coach in 2013 and he reportedly already has his eyes set on another team -- the San Diego Chargers.

QUOTE(#15):

More good work by fansided. He has NOT been fired or notified he is being fired as of the time this comment is being posted. Him and Lurie are meeting tomorrow to discuss it.

I can't remember the last time I looked this forward to Black Monday.

I like the part where they call Andy Reid naive.
