Broncos crush Chiefs, secure No. 1 seed

07:33 PM ET 12.30 | The Denver Broncos routed the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-3, on Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. As a result of the win, the Broncos clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, giving them home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Texans held that spot throughout most of the season but lost in Week 17, paving the way for Denver to secure the top seed.

The #1 and #2 seeds playing for the conference seems such a neat and logical outcome, strange how it rarely happens that way. There's one thing we can always be sure of in the play offs and that is that there is nothing for sure. Give us good, close, hard hitting football and the outcome will be OK by me.
