Jamison apologizes, in 'for the long haul'

08:09 AM ET 12.31 | From here on out, Lakers forward Antawn Jamison will aim to make a positive impact, committing to a role that includes being a "cheerleader smiling or running up and down the court." [Jamison] apologized Sunday for comments made after the Lakers' 104-87 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday and expressed his commitment to the team despite his recent lack of playing time. "Really it's just a lot of frustration the last couple games but the most important thing here is us winning," said Jamison, who has received five straight Did Not Play-Coach's Decision. ... "There's not going to be no rocking the boat here with myself or demanding a trade. I'm here for the long haul and I'm here to help this team win a championship."

Jamison should have learned this that he is not a starter anymore. After he left Cleveland, his starting days are numbered. He was brought in with the Lakers to come off the bench. He needs to learn his role over there. And no LTCF, he is not a hoffer :)

His coming off the bench seems to be the bone of contention. If you read the article, you might have noticed that he is not being allowed to do that (except at game's end). And please don't get LTCF going.
