USC's top two position players sidelined?

08:23 AM ET 12.31 | A season that went sideways at Southern Cal may come to an even more frustrating conclusion in El Paso Monday at the Hyundai Sun Bowl. The status of two of USC's top position players is unknown for Monday's game, a scary thought for the Trojans when combined with Barkley's absence. Receiver Marqise Lee reportedly went down with a knee injury early in USC's Saturday practice and did not return, and Curtis McNeal has missed bowl practices with an undisclosed injury. It would still qualify a significant surprise if Lee did not suit up, considering he was walking without much trouble later Saturday. As long as he plays, Monday's game should be another opportunity for Lee to showcase his incredible abilities in front of a national audience.

OT just reminded me of something. Me thinks the last time USC played in the Sun Bowl (and didn't want to be there) they ended up losing to a 6-5 TCU team.
Maybe a 6-7 Ga Tech team will win.

I agree but the Sun Bowl is not one of the new fly by night money generating for the officals bowl games. Second oldest of the bowls along with the Sugar and Orange...all of which are behind the Rose Bowl I believe.
