12:51 PM ET 12.31 | The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that they are formally parting ways with long-time head coach Andy Reid, according to Sheil Kapadia. Owner Jeffrey Lurie released a statement about Reid just moments ago, per the team site: "Andy Reid won the most games of any head coach in Eagles history and he is someone I respect greatly and will remain friends with for many years to come," said Lurie. "But, it is time for the Eagles to move in a new direction. Coach Reid leaves us with a winning tradition that we can build upon. And we are very excited about the future."

Last two years of the Eagles have been dismal, lets see two years ago two of Andy's son are arrested, one for drugs, the other for gun charges. This preseason the druggie ODs at training camp. Yea I think Andy has been distracted.
