'No one can keep Cousins in line'

08:09 AM ET 01.01 | Whether DeMarcus Cousins is a divisive presence in Sacramento likely isn't as important as Geoff Petrie saying Monday that Cousins wasn't on the block -- though that may not halt the speculation. The Wizards went to great lengths over the last year to get rid of young players whose immaturity, they felt, was wearing [John Wall] down, trading center JaVale McGee to Denver for Nene and guard Nick Young to the Clippers and using the amnesty provision to waive forward Andray Blatche. "No one can (keep Cousins in line), and John doesn't need to try," a friend of Wall's said over the weekend. "I don't think DeMarcus has any interest in doing anything other than what he wants to do."

Man-child

Man sounds like Zach Randolph in a way(maturity wise)....maybe he needs to contact Z Bo and have a chat or two about becoming more mature.

Not even the Celtics... with the tripple he dropped on them. Man would it be a shocker if the C's don't crack the playoffs...

I don't get Cousins he needs counseling, a life coach or something. If someone needs to "keep you in line" to play basketball for a living, where you stand to make 8 figures plus a year if you stay in line then that says pretty much everything I need to know.

'No one can keep Cousins in line'

Why, because Wall's dumb friend said so?
Let's not jump to the conclusion that if he can't, NOBODY can.

Just needs the right guidance, like Artest, Sheed, Rodman...this is the NBA, they are all immature.

All those guys mentioned was on their last leg!!!! one more ou burst they wouldve been out the league for good!!!

That being said, give him his walking papers. He's been in the league long enough to know better and conduct himself in a professional fashion. Make room for the players who are doing the right thing and not getting the chance than are being afforded DC. Stop talking about it, and be about it. Can DeMarcus Cousins>

It's funny that Coach Cal never had these problems out of Cousins.

Hopefully while DeMarcus was at Kentucky, he took some courses in pumping gas or driving buses...

He may need those work skill experiences sooner than later.

He's the contemporary version of J.R. Ryder.

Sounds like someone who some NBA team will give tens of millions of dollars in a long term, guaranteed contract.
