And the Penn State on your resume helps how?

He wasn't there during the scandal and did a helluva job there. His time as The Pats's AC ain't gonna hurt either

I wouldn't blame him. He was told when he was hired that there wouldn't be any sanctions against the football program, which proved to be erroneous.

QUOTE(#2):

The great thing about Penn State football is that old shriveled up goat 85 year old Paterno is gone. Just looking at that decrepit old semile Paterno sickened me. Let O'Brien leave the sanctions have 3 more years it don't matter anyway who is the coach. It's not like O'Brien is Bear Bryant or Woody Hayes anyway. Don't let the door hit you in the **** Billy boy when you leave.

Do you like anyone

Probably his time with the Pats counts more

Soooo... after a year of preaching loyalty to his players to stay at PSU he may bolt for the NFL? Typical.

January 2, 2013  01:55 PM ET

After everything he said and did to get his players to stay and be loyal if he leaves now he would be the ultimate hypocrit.

Dont tell me you wouldnt leave your job if you were offered more money and more prestige. Stop thinking college football is about loyalty. Its about $$

Hint: Stay at the college level - where the players play for the 'game,' and not the $$...
