Texans' weak link? Their Pro Bowl QB

One and done. It's been real. Real disappointing.

In the AFC, I'd take Brady, Manning, Rothlisberger, Rivers, Luck, Flacco and Dalton before Schaub.

There is just something fundamentally wrong with the Texans. They've started out great every season, faded badly down the stretch, and then go out with a whimper. If they really do go one and done in the playoffs, I think Kubiak is going into an ultimatum type year next year: win it all or go home.

Very good analogy. If the Texans make it to the SB, it will be on the rush of Watt and the legs of Foster, not on the arm of Schaub.

I doubt they would get past NE or Denver.

The Texans ran up against a hot and desperate team in Minnesota in week 16 and in week 17 against the young Colts. I believe they will survive Saturday and the next week it will be up to 99 and the the running back to continue on in the playoffs.

The Texans miss Brian Cushing.

Wasn't there talk earlier in the season of Schaub, Rothlisberger, Rivers and Manning (Eli) now being the best quarterback draft of all time?

Joe Flacco has played 5 Seasons in the NFL, all he did was make the playoffs every year, that's impressive!!

I'm a Texans fan and always considered Schaub an average plus quarterback. He benefits from a strong run game which greatly helps the play action pass game that Houston played so well n the first half of the season. It seems as if the Texans have been relying on his passing more in the last few games at the expense of the running game. I'd like them to re-emphasize their run game as the priority and then the passing game will improve. If their offense keeps going like it has in the past several weeks they may win one playoff game; but that's it.

I like Indy as well. There is some serious karma there. Pagano, Arians (who should be coach of the year IMHO) and a guy named Luck with a horseshoe on his helmet. You can't make this stuff up.

I was trying to compare Schaub to Flacco who each year he's been the league, has made and won a game the playoffs, Schaub has not accomplished that. For you information, after they won The Super Bow, in the next seven years, they made the playoffs 3 Times, with whoever at Quarterback, the fact of the matter is, they drafted a kid out of Delaware and he has put them in the playoffs every year, so give the man the credit that he's due 5 out of 5 Seasons in the Playoffs, is a lot better than 3 out of 7 seasons, Now for your penance say 10 Hail Mary's!!!
