05:47 PM ET 01.02 | Dallas Cowboys' owner and general manager Jerry Jones said in an interview with Jasmine Sadry of KRLD-FM that the Cowboys are in for an uncomfortable offseason. Jones told Sadry that the Cowboys missed a giant opportunity on Sunday, telling Sadry, "I'm very disappointed. I thought we missed a great opportunity (to win Sunday)," Jones said. "... I can assure fans that it's going to be very uncomfortable for the next couple of weeks and months at Valley Ranch." Jones also said that, "Change is necessary at 8-8. A change will happen." The Cowboys had a chance to clinch a playoff spot on the final week of the season for the second year in a row but failed to do so. They lost to the Washington Redskins 28-18, giving the NFC East division crown to one of their biggest rivals. Jones refused to comment about whether head coach Jason Garrrett will be stripped of his play-calling duties next year or if defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will be back with the organization.

They could start by hiring a GM who knows football. Oh, wait...

A real GM who understands football, can recognize, draft, and trade for talent, can structure cap friendly deals, knows when to trade or release players approaching or past their prime, and allow coaches to do their jobs.

The only thing he could do that a would be significant for me is to bring Norv back as OC. Short of that - unless he's bringing in Ron Wolf, I don't give a damn for his changes.

Jerry is a problem. Romo ain't going anywhere. And Garrett probably will be back, in fact, almost certainly.
So, what changes are coming?

So let me get this straight. Jerry Jones is saying that the beatings will continue around Valley Ranch until everyone's attitude improves. Just how in the world did someone with zero ability to effectively delegate become as successful as him?

Hopefully, next season will be just as uncomfortable as this past season and the off-season. Make sure you keep making all the decisions and don't hire a competent GM, Jerry.

Jones said. "... I can assure fans that it's going to be very uncomfortable for the next couple of weeks and months at Valley Ranch."
Another big game for Big D and Romo puts up some alarming numbers: 20/37, 218 yds, 2 TDs, 3 INTs, LMFAO.
If you are not getting a bona fide GM, than how about giving us a QB that won't give the game away, a Head Coach that you don't have to worry about making decisions on the field, and a Defensive Coordinator that won't blitz on practically most of the plays.
