Should the Steelers have fired Mike Tomlin?

05:48 PM ET 01.02 | Seven coaches in all were fired on the annual day known as "Black Monday," but in reality it could have been double digits. If you ask me Rex Ryan, Ron Rivera, Mike Mularkey at the very least should be gone as well. Still, no bigger name should have been fired from his head coaching job than the Steelers' Mike Tomlin.

whoever wrote this clearly doesn't watch football. no bigger name should have been fired than tomlin...lmao. you know..this is stupid for a vast number of reasons...injuries...injuries...contract issues..more injuries. but let's not forget that this man is 30 games over 500, won a superbowl..went to the superbowl again in 2010...he is one of the leagues best coaches. and for this writer to say HE should have been fired over all others...just shows this is a reaction based article with zero thought.

Steeler ownership has been one of the most consistent in picking competent coaches and then sticking with coaches even after a down season, or even a few such seasons. I really respect the way they run that franchise.
Tomlin dealt with some serious injury issues, and with some tempermental player issues, and still fielded a very competitive team.
He's a keeper (and I'm a Pats fan also).

Should Tomlin have been fired? Absolutely not!

No. But if they don't want him there are a whole lot of teams in the league that would be most happy to take him off your hands.

As a Ravens fan i can only hope my Team develops the Steelers long time practice of not jumping from Coach to Coach.
