08:42 PM ET 01.02 | There was a significant piece of bulletin board material spewed out of Northern Illinois this past week ahead of the Discover Orange Bowl, when quarterback Jordan Lynch said that the Florida State Seminoles had not seen an offense like the Huskies before, and insinuated that the Noles didn't stand a chance. The Noles fired back in two ways on Tuesday night, first by beating Lynch and the Huskies 31-10. But Seminoles linebacker Vince Williams fired back after the game saying that he still didn't fancy Lynch as a quarterback. "He's terrible," Williams said of Lynch after the Orange Bowl. "I can't believe they tried us like that. They tried our life, man. He's not good at all."

As I said, they looked decent for 2.5 quarters then they fell apart. Overmatched but game for awhile.

Vince Williams is just a young man making foolish public statements as young men are wont to do.

just a college football fan and observer......

Lynch showed nothing in the bowl game. Neither did NIU, substantiating that (1) smaller programs shouldn't be in the BCS and (2) the ACC remains the worst BCS conference.

It,s really not that fair of a comparison such as a Volkswagen talking smack to a Ferrari

So, you don't care for the Herbie mobies and you believe Lindsey Lohan would do well in women's prison. OK then.

You're kidding, right?

You're a WVU guy, correct? If the ACC is so bad, then why did your team pay FSU six-figures not to kick their **** this year? West Virginia is a JOKE!

C'mon...West Virginia beat the ACC champ last year by a score of 70-33 in the Orange Bowl.

100% correct...and then laid an egg against Syracuse in this year's bowl.

What is WVA's head case about Syracuse? Wasn't the bowl loss the Mountaineers 3rd in as many meetings? The Orangemen can suck almighty, and yet, they will beat WVA like a toy drum.

C'mon indeed! It is a FACT that WVU paid Florida State a six-figure buyout to avoid their scheduled game with us. They did so to "avoid a scheduling conflict," which is strange because they had a BYE WEEK that Saturday!
