Deion Sanders doesn't think Ray Lewis is retiring

Moss's situation was different. If Ray Lewis says he's retiring, he's retiring.

If being a LB doesn't include tackling then yes by all means don't retire 52.

Retiring? Maybe Deion thought Ray Lewis said "reloading". Seriously though, Ray Lewis, putting aside the legal issues from a decade ago, is one amazing talent.

Lewis isn't stupid, he knows his play has slipped lately, even before the most recent injury. Moss took plays off BEFORE he retired, so coming back to the NFL and only half-assing it for a couple more seasons is pretty much normal for him. Lewis never half-**** anything in his life, except maybe the obstruction of justice he got in trouble for back in Atlanta. I think he knew he was done after this playoff round - judging from how fast ESPN seems to have hired him, I think the day after the doctor told him "torn triceps" (or biceps, pec, whatever muscle it was), he was already talking to ESPN about next year.

For someone who's as much a showman as Deion, he's really lousy as a sports commentator.

I wouldn't put it past Ray to be using this as a ploy to help motivate and inspire his teammates for the postseason. It's the sort of thing he'd do (and I mean that in a good way).

Deion Sanders is the same type of thug and pile of slime and excrement as Ray Lewis. The difference is that Sanders hasn't murdered anyone ... yet.
