Luongo to the Leafs after the CBA is signed.....im very happy that the Canucks brass have left Luongo waiting and wondering...more teams should have the balls that the Canucks have...whats the message here ?? " you gonna demand a trade publicly **** you "...yup thats what i got..these athletes today know exaclt what they're doing......IF you wanna be traded ASAP and you want your franchise to get back almost equal value back you keep your trade request SECRET....but no some cry babies gotta stomp their feet and throw their soother's on the ground.
Good for Luongo....next time keep your yap shut.

? Are you alright? Luongo's didn't sign himself to a ridiculous contract - the Canucks did. And now with a lower Cap, they're even more screwed. They actually may have to buy him out, and in that case a guy who would normally have pretty decent trade value if signed to a reasonable contract will instead be a UFA. And that's what we call awful management.

You're assuming he's untradeable but in actuality he is...there will be no buying out of contracts...but yes awful management for signing him to that ridiculous contract.
