02:07 PM ET 01.03 | Andy Reid and the Chiefs are reportedly very close to working out a deal to bring Big Red to Kansas City, according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen. The dynamic reporting duo heard from a source that "the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon" so it's looking it's only a matter of time until it's official. Likewise, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora is reporting that the deal will likely be finalized by the end of the day, with Reid no longer planning to travel to San Diego or Arizona for additional interviews.

His agent put out the word to a intern about him interviewing with Arizona, but he had know intentions of interviewing there. Reid wants full control and since it looks like he is KC bound and probably the GM will be let go after he is signs his contract.
