04:49 PM ET 01.03 | Bjoern Werner, a 6'4, 255-pound end from Berlin who did not begin playing organized football until he was 15, emerged as one of the star players on a dominating Seminoles defense this season. He had 42 tackles, including 18 for loss, as well as 13 sacks. Werner was a first-team All-ACC and consensus All-American selection this season. He was one of the key players on a Florida State defense that gave up only 14.7 points a game, helping lead the Seminoles to an ACC championship and Orange Bowl victory.
