06:24 PM ET 01.03 | Fab Melo may have suffered one of the stranger injuries in professional sports history. The Boston Celtics' rookie suffered a concussion when he bumped his head in a doorway in a hotel room while playing for the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' NBA Developmental League affiliate. "I think, what did you have? Manny being Manny?" Celtics coach Doc Rivers said, referring to Manny Ramirez. "Five years when Fab's playing terrific for us here, we're going to have some Fab being Fab moments. He just took kind of a head start. ??? Literally."

At least he didn't break his ankle carrying 2 empty boxes down the stairs (David Robertson). Would love to see how they clown on him for the rest of the season every time he attempts to walk through a doorway.
