08:18 AM ET 01.04 | Even Jimbo Fisher admitted, "It's the best decision for him and his family." As expected, Florida State junior defensive end Bjoern Werner will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. Werner is projected to be a high first-round pick, possibly among the top five players selected. He could be the highest drafted FSU defensive player since defensive end Peter Boulware went fourth overall to the Baltimore Ravens in 1997. "I'm grateful to coach Fisher and Florida State for giving me the opportunity to be a Seminole and play for one of the top college football programs in the country," Werner said. ... Werner leaves FSU following a season that saw him earn all-conference and consensus All-America honors.

Pretty hostile for someone who doesn't have to make what is a simple decision: Stay and risk injury for free, or go to the pros and get paid millions for the same risk.
