08:20 AM ET 01.04 | Thanks to Nick Saban's policy of keeping his assistant coaches under wraps, hearing from Doug Nussmeier Thursday made for a departure. "Working with Coach Saban, the way he structures everything, the attention to detail, you just can't say enough about it," Nussmeier said. It should come as no surprise then that Alabama will likely reach nearly similar numbers in run-pass ratio as last season. The only real difference is despite quarterback AJ McCarron having fewer passes, the offense has taken more chances because McCarron can throw it accurately and receiver Amari Cooper is a deep threat. "I was talking to my dad the other day, and it was kind of crazy -- I have less pass attempts than what I did last year," McCarron said. "But better numbers."
