04:33 PM ET 01.04 | Fans and players alike deride the NFL at times as the "No Fun League," where even touchdown celebrations are strictly regulated. The moniker felt especially appropriate for Washington Redskins fans lately after the team told the Washington Redskins' Marching Band, a group of volunteer fan musicians, to nix its tradition of playing "Hail to the Redskins" after the team scored a touchdown. It did not sit well with the fans over at Hogs Haven, SB Nation's Redskins blog. They started a crusade to revive the tradition, having the band play the fight song rather than the PA system. Sure enough, it worked. The team lifted the ban, and the song is back.
