08:39 AM ET 01.05 | Oregon coach Chip Kelly and the Cleveland Browns wrapped up seven hours of meetings Friday that were characterized as "very positive," though Kelly informed the Browns that he would proceed to interview with the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles, according to team and league sources. While sources say Kelly has positioned himself as the favorite to become the next Browns coach, there is no contractual agreement in place. However, the two sides see no significant obstacles that would prevent a contract being completed if they decide to move forward Saturday night, the sources added. Kelly informed Haslam and Banner that he wanted to "go through the process" by meeting with the Bills and Eagles, something he regretted not doing last hiring season when he only interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a source close to the Oregon coach.

Don't do it! Stay where you are.

Meh... I'd much rather he just sign with Cleveland. Don't want Philly to interview this guy.

The college game and the NFL have been getting closer to similar for years. We are at a point where several college coaches can make the adjustment, something that even 10 years ago was much more difficult (Steve Spurrier is a good example).

San Francisco and Seattle are such examples.

True, but both of those guys had pro experience before they went off to college football. It can be well argued that Pete Carroll laid the groundwork for BB in New England.

Besides Carrolls extensive NFL background experience Harbaugh played something like 14 years in the NFL and coached QBs at Oakland before any college experience.

If I were The Chipster, I would choose Philadelphia, they were loyal to Andy Reid and have players he could plug into his System, but hey, what do I Know!!!
