06:20 PM ET 01.05 | The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have lost a key part of their offense to the pros. Leading rusher Jawan Jamison released a press release through the school on Saturday to announce that he will forgo his final two years of eligibility to enter the 2013 NFL Draft. "Jawan has been an exciting player for us during his career," said Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood. "He is a running back with tremendous vision, great balance and has the gift to make people miss in the open field. We wish Jawan well as he begins his journey to play in the NFL." Jamison was named second-team All-Big East after his second-straight season leading Rutgers in rushing. The team's star running back galloped for 1,075 yards and four touchdowns. He added 323 yards on 28 receptions. In his college career, Jamison totaled 1,972 yards and 13 touchdowns.
