D-Backs still talking to Mariners, Padres, Rangers about Justin Upton

The Diamondbacks are going to have to get more realistic expectations or they're going to start the season with one too many outfielders and no better pitching.

the d'backs aren't backing down at least not now, the rangers wanted to give double A prospects to d'backs for Justin upton,the d'backs shouldn't trade Justin upton to the rangers why?? because that team refuse to add profar in that trade,

the d'backs could have better posibility in trading Justin upton for top triple A pitchers prospects from the mariners, this trade should benefit both clubs,,,,

the trade its getting closer than expected, but it could be to a mistery team, rangers should be out, the padres maybe, the mariners are closer than any team,,,

the rangers had proved that the texas are a prospects collector,in other words the texas had replaced the royals and the rays,but any deal should become reality,it should be for the young outfielder.,...

The Rangers have Elvis and Elvis has Boras, the Mariners have extra pitchers, the Padres have prospects, so which team would you trade with if you are the GM of the Dbacks. If I am the GM I am trading with the Mariners for their young pitchers and not with the Rangers for Elvis because with Boras you could not afford to resign him to a long term deal.

I think the Rangers need Upton to counter the PR after losing out on Greinke and Hamilton. Texas also has the right blend of talent that the D Backs want in return.

Should be done...but we've thought that before.

The Braves have the pitching prospects to pull this off.

business has to be done with caution and alot wisdom, there are teams offering peanuts for the d'backs hitter, but that's why deals should be done carefully without any rushing in any way,,

the sensibility of the deal its too difficult to adjusted, the Teams that had Been mentioned here most of them Had refused to Trade Top Prospects,Then Again The D'backs Should Take Their Sweet time in Order to Achieve Their Goals,,,,

Predict Upton will only be traded if Profar or Simmons included in the trade...otherwise, the D'backs will trade Kubel.

Mariners are flush with great prospect arms and starters. I would think they would make the best deal for pitching. Does Upton want to go to Seattle though?

the Mariners already added Jason Bay. They're good to go. ;o)

i like Upton, but i like stanton more, padres trade Gyrko and a couple pitchers for Stanton, boom! a guy can hope!
