07:56 AM ET 01.07 | For his part, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen didn't seem all that slowed this season. [Allen]will have surgery to repair a partially torn labrum in his shoulder after the season, he said. Allen has been playing with the injury all season, and still finished the year with 12 sacks, but will get a cleanup procedure done sometime after he plays in the Pro Bowl, he said. It will be the first time in the 30-year-old's career that he has needed surgery -- and the first operation he's had, Allen said, since he had his tonsils removed when he was five years old. "I played the whole year," he said. "I'm going to enjoy the Pro Bowl. I figure I'll at least get some warm weather and a pseudo-free vacation."

The trick is to fly from where you are to San Fran spend the night, fly out the next day. San Fran to Hawaii I remember as 5 hours
