08:03 AM ET 01.07 | Perhaps Dwight Howard isn't long for Los Angeles. [Howard] and Kobe Bryant just can't get along, and there's a team in Brooklyn that might be waiting to pick up the pieces. A league source told the Daily News that the Lakers stars got into a heated exchange following a New Year's Day loss to the 76ers, and Bryant went for a low blow -- referencing and agreeing with Shaquille O'Neal's criticisms of Howard being soft. Howard was restrained from going at his teammate, according to the source, and there have been rumblings from the center's camp that he's been unhappy with Bryant since earlier in the season. Three days after the altercation, following a disheartening loss to the Clippers, Howard complained about the lack of chemistry on the Lakers.

Hey I saw this coming soon as they got Howard. Did not see the losing but did figure they would not get along. The losing just makes it even worse. Kobe called Howard sofT lol the dude is playful and laughs on the court to much but sofT.

I'm not a Lakers fan by any means, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Kobe is right. Howard is a premadonna. Too worried about the market he's in, can't hit free throws and doesn't respond well to criticism when it's warranted. Just ask the Magic.

You know the more funny part of this is that Kobe agreed with this;

Funny how he didnt like shaq, but agreed with him on another center.

The storied franchise The Los Angles Lakers continue to be a mess. I expect Howard to be gone by the end of this year and some other major changes over there.
