08:09 AM ET 01.07 | Kansas Jayhawks' 6-foot-5 freshman shooting guard Ben McLemore, who is averaging nearly 16 points, more than five rebounds and more than two assists per game, has a shot at history. McLemore has been one of the biggest surprises this season. After sitting out last year as an academic redshirt, he has been nothing short of sensational moving to the front of this year's shooting guard class and stating a case for himself as a potential top overall pick candidate. While the feat has not been accomplished (a SG going 1) in 40 years, McLemore has a chance. He needs to improve upon his handle and ability to create shots, but he has standout athleticism and a textbook outside shot.

The Noel kid's going 1st. His hair alone makes him worthy of the first pick.

Noel can't score to save his life. No higher than 5 for him. McLemore will go higher than him

Mclemore is a great prospect - but the fact that the pro scouts are saying he has short comings indicates he could really benefit from another year in school under the guidance of Coach Self. Look at Withey, he is just now becoming a well rounded ball player. The young men gain more than they loose by staying in school. They may even get an education.
