04:48 PM ET 01.07 | Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano held a press conference on Monday, discussing a myriad of end-of-season topics. The most notable topic, however, was offensive coordinator Bruce Arians. Pagano provided an update on Arians' health, but also talked a little about his future with the organization. First: Arians is still in a Baltimore hospital, but is expected back soon after a slew of negative tests. He'll be released once his blood pressure lowers to its normal level. Second: the Colts really do not want to lose Arians, who likely wants to move on to become a head coach after his successful role working as the interim coach while Pagano battled with leukemia. Pagano said that the team does not want him to go elsewhere, and joked that they might try to kill his stock by bad-mouthing him on social media.

Don't see that happening unless they pay him big bucs, he's earned a good look or even a head coaching job after what he accomplished this season!!!maybe St Louis?

I agree. 2-14 to 11-5, and under those circumstances...he has earned himself a head coaching gig if he wants it.

He's Definitely, Assistant Coach of The Year!!!

Football is a business, right......?

That's what I've been told and it's the only reason I'd say this: Bruce Arians got the team to 11-5. Pagano was barely even around (I know. I know). The colts need to keep Arians around as long as possible and continue to develop one of the best young quarterbacks in the league. That being said I could see Arians in chicago next year.

Arians needs to go clean up Jacksonville. Take that team to a Superbowl and you've done something.
