08:05 AM ET 01.08 | The lockout is over, and John Tortorella went sentimental. On Monday, with the Owners' Lockout III on the verge of coming to an end, the Rangers' coach regained some sense of normalcy, with 15 players on the ice at the MSG Training Facility in Westchester and him very close to being able teach them again. And being that close, Tortorella showed some rare personal emotion. "This is what we do. This is the only thing I know how to do," Tortorella said. "The players wanting to be together, the coaches want to be with them, too. We want to get back with them. We feel like we're a tight nit group, and quite honestly, I miss them." The NHL Board of Governors is expected to meet on Wednesday to ratify the new Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I think the coaches may have been in the middle on this whole thing...

I'd be very scared of the Rags this shortened season. They have all the chips in place, now it's all up to Torts....

Well, the Rangers are usually only Cup-worthy in strike-shortened seasons...

I'd have to think they'll at least have to go to the semis for him to have done his job. This is their year.

They did the semis last year. The kids are a year older and they picked up Nash. It's Cup or bust. As it should be.

He misses telling his injured players to dive in front of a thundering slap shot.......

The experts are tabbing them as the the team with the 2nd best shot at the Cup..Pittsburgh being the favourite.
