Browns interviewing Arians, Trestman for head coach

04:40 PM ET 01.08 | New Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner will keep interviewing candidates as they prepare to make their first coaching hire. Two of the top candidates appear to be Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman. The Browns predictably fired coach Pat Shurmur and general manager Tom Heckert at the end of the season, allowing Haslam and Banner to bring in their own men for the jobs. The Browns have made it clear that they are putting the search for a new head coach as priority number one, and then will turn their attention to the general manager search. Cleveland interviewed Oregon coach Chip Kelly, Penn State coach Bill O'Brien, and former Syracuse coach Doug Marrone, but were unable to hire any of them. Kelly and O'Brien stayed put, and the Bills hired Marrone as their head coach.

So Luck made Harbaugh and Shaw as well? Arains kept a young team together with a dark cloud hanging over the team and taught them how to win. It seems that Arians made Rothlesberger as he and the Pittsburgh offense was a shell of what it was when Arians was running it. As far as Trestman goes I do not know much about him. I would like them to revisit Horton and talk to Lovie as well.

So Luck made Arians is what you're saying? So, if thats true then Arians must have made Big Ben! Because he was his OC up until this year, won a SB with him then left and well, Pitt failed to make the playoffs.
Sounds to me that you want to put all the credit on the player and not the coach? Great logic! (smhwlaynwy=shaking my head while laughing at you not with you)

Now on to yours, I like the idea of Horton and Lovie but what do you think of this scenario. Lovie as HC, Whisenhunt as OC and Juron as DC.

When your first three candidates don't want the job, I guess a CFL coach starts to look pretty good.

I laughed at it as well but after a little research it appears the guy is a pretty solid coach. He has worked in the NFL for years and when he came to a team they quickly led the lead in scoring.

I would be quite happy with that, but I do not see Wisenhunt going back to the OC position. I think he will get an HC job before it is all said and done, but again, I would love to see it.
