05:47 PM ET 01.08 | Texas A&M Aggies offensive tackle Luke Joeckel has made it official. The top offensive tackle in this year's draft class will forgo his final year of college eligibility and enter the 2013 NFL Draft, per multiple reports. Joeckel has been the Aggies starting left tackle since he joined the team as a true freshman. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman is considered by many to be the potential number one overall pick this season. There is no denying Joeckel's game. He is one of the top offensive tackle prospects in years, thanks to a lack of weaknesses in his game. He is a better pro prospect than Matt Kalil and Jake Long in past years. It would be stunning to see Joeckel slide out of the top five picks of April's draft.

I hear ya, Doc, but you can't stop the free-market. These guys are all 21 years old. If they want to get paid (more in some cases) to play, us old traditionalists can't stand in their way.

I think he can change his mind if he hasn't hired an agent.
