07:24 PM ET 01.08 | Scott Skiles has spent five season with the Bucks and leaves Milwaukee with 162-182 record. Things haven't been totally disastrous for Skiles in Milwaukee, but ever since the Bucks acquired high-flying, flashy scorer Monta Ellis, Skiles' style of defensive basketball hasn't meshed well with the direction of where the team is going with its roster. Larry Sanders has been a total invention of Scott Skiles, but while Skiles has a defensive monster like Sanders, Brandon Jennings and Ellis have shown that the Bucks can compete by outscoring their opponent rather than holding them down. The Bucks front office apparently likes how that sounds, and have decided to go in that direction. So did Monta Ellis and his offensive approach to the team help push Scott Skiles out the door?
