Dolphins to unveil new logo before NFL Draft

I guess if you can't make a change to winning football changing the team logo is the next best thing.

Nice logo, but the last time they tried bringing in a Tuna it didn't work out so well. I guess Parcells wasn't dolphin-safe.

What a brilliant idea. Don't worry about the 7-and-9 record. Get a new logo and make Pitbull one of the owners. That will help stop the slide from the smallest attendance and worst television ratings in the NFL.

Worked for the Broncos in 1996 - they changed their logo and colors the next year they won it all. I am sure it was the uniforms......not Elway, Davis, Atwater, Sharpe, Smith, McCaffrey, Zimmerman, and the rest

Maybe they are going the Tampa Bay route with a darker more evil image. How about a human figure in the jaws of the dolphin and an eye patch. Eye patches always make you look tough. Of course you may end up in a ditch.

They will have a can of tuna on the helmet with a warning label: This can may contain dolphins parts .

Or maybe they will stick with a sea mammal, only use a larger version and switch their logo to "Killer Whales" they are after all the top predator of the oceans . Of coarse some people may get them mixed up with the Oakland Raiders if they switch their uniforms to Black and White.

It always bothered me that the Dolphin in the logo wore a helmut but that that helmet had an "M" on it. Would have preferred the infinity scenario where the helmet on the logo dolphin has its own logo dolphin which in turn has its own helmeted dolphin on its helmet and so on and so and so on.

I'm glad they were able to address the team's biggest problem
