07:53 AM ET 01.09 | Though on the shelf for at least a week with a shoulder injury, Lakers center Dwight Howard remained in mostly good spirits on Tuesday. Howard sounded slightly irritated when he said the labrum in his right shoulder is separated and not torn, contrary to what the Lakers initially reported following his MRI on Monday. "They don't want me to continue to aggravate it," Howard said. "That could cause a lot of problems later on in the season." Howard traveled with the Lakers on their two-game trip, which concludes tonight in San Antonio, to work with the Lakers' training staff on his shoulder mostly involving icing and electronic stimulation. The Lakers will re-evaluate him next week. "I'm not going to put a timetable on that," Howard said.

I'm starting to feel sorry for Howard. He's in a no win situation now with the Lakers.

The Lakers are not going to make the playoffs so ending his season to mend won't cause any stir, it may help the Lakers more than hurt, the playoffs is unthinkable. I can't believe how far south this season has gone for the Lakers.
