08:08 AM ET 01.09 | Boston Bruins goalie Anton Khudobin is considering a permanent switch to the KHL when his NHL contract expires in the summer. The Kazakh-born Russian has been impressed by the standard of the fledgling league during three months with Moscow region team Atlant, and sees a tricky decision on the horizon. "I can say that these three months have been simply excellent," Khudobin said. "In the summer my contract with Boston finishes, and the choice of which league to play is going to be a serious dilemma. I could definitely turn up in the KHL, why not?" ... "Here you get really good hockey, it's a really decent league. The KHL is taking confident steps forward, and that's something that's really pleasing."

Nothing wrong with wanting to play in front of your family and friends...this reeks of contract negotiations tho..attempting to gain the upper hand..........doesnt matter tho Boston has Subban waiting in the wings.

and they drafted Subban. If he sees the writing on the wall then good for him. I'd also rather make coin in the K than linger in the A for eternity.

The KHL should be signing contracts with Boeing and Airbus before getting more players. Just sayin.

Subban = 4 goals in 16 shots in a big game, that would worry me some BGM.

What's going on with Boston goalies. I guess they're getting tired of taking slap shots from Chara in practice.

Who have the Leafs gotten from Boston that turned to ish? Kessel? He's exactly what anyone with a brain knew he would be. He also was sixth in points and seventh in goals scored last year, so..
