07:54 PM ET 01.09 | There is some stunning news that came out in the college football world today when Michigan Wolverines stud offensive tackle Taylor Lewan announced his decision to return to school for his senior season rather than entering the 2013 NFL Draft. Lewan announced his decision to return to Michigan during a press conference on Wednesday evening. "I had a 30-45 minute with Jake Long. Everything he said about why he stayed, I had the same thoughts," Lewan said. "I have unfinished business here. There was really no doubt in my mind that I had to be back at the University of Michigan. I always said I would evaluate things and make the best decision for me, and that's exactly what I did." With that news, the 2013 offensive tackle class has taken a major hit. Lewan was considered a potential top 10 pick. Instead of taking advantage of the opportunity, Lewan will return for one final season at the college level.

I guess he really likes college. It's not like they're winning the Big 1G next year.

Has Lewan completed the requirements for his Bachelor's degree? Will he enroll in post-grad courses during his remaining eligibility?

Now this is one time I'm sorry a kid decided to stay. Go Taylor go. Take the money and run.

No idea TM.
Here's an early prediction for you.
With 3 new starters in the O-line (would have been 4 obviously w/o Lewan) and 2 freshmen doing the majority of the running, Michigan will have a better record in 2013 than 2012. My "out on a limb" prediction is 10-2.
No Alabama on the schedule in 2013 and, ND, Nebraska, and OSU at home. At PSU, at MSU, at NW will be challenges as well.
The following year, 2014 is the "How-you-doing-so-far-Hoke Year", I expect big things even though the schedule is more difficult. 3 years of recruits in and they have been good ones. Gardner (QB) s/b a red-shirt Senior if his medical red shirt is granted by the NCAA.
