Lake Dawson interviewing with the Titans

03:32 PM ET 01.09 | The Carolina Panthers have brought in Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson to interview for their vacant general manager position, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. Dawson's name has surfaced for a promotion in year's past, as he has been connected to the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams. Carolina fired GM Marty Hurney just six games into the 2012 season after the team started 1-5. The Panthers did improve down the stretch, as they did the year before, and closed with a 7-9 record.
