06:18 PM ET 01.09 | Among the candidates to fill the general manager vacancy for the Kansas City Chiefs is San Francisco 49ers executive Tom Gamble, according to Randy Covitz of the Kansas City Star. While John Dorsey, the director of football operations for the Green Bay Packers has been considered the favorite for the Chiefs job, Gamble has been a popular name during the offseason and has received interviews for the Chargers, Jaguars and Jets GM positions. The Jaguars have since hired Dave Caldwell to fill their GM vacancy.

Andy Reid has final say on personnel anyway. They just need a guy who knows how Andy likes his coffee. I'm guessing heavy cream and lotsa sugar.
