07:56 PM ET 01.09 | Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson will forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2013 NFL Draft. Patterson was in his first year at Tennessee after transferring up from the juco level. He is viewed as a wide receiver with an unbelievable upside and he could work his way into the first-round of April's draft. Patterson has potential to become a number one receiver at the next level. In the season opener against North Carolina State, Patterson torched the North Carolina State defensive backfield -- especially David Amerson, who Patterson single-handedly exposed. Patterson joins fellow wide receiver Justin Hunter, quarterback Tyler Bray and defensive lineman Darrington Sentimore as early entries into the 2013 draft class.

I don't understand how a team can have this many NFLers, but still not win many games? Do they just not try? or is it solely (lack of) coaching?

Nope. Amazing that a 5-7 team would have so many NFL bound players.

The janitorial staff remains intact.

Yes, though the ruinous tenure of a wholey illsuited AD is the root cause.

My guys went 7-6, and three juniors felt it was in their best interest to go pro. I think of of the three made the correct call.

Since when did "torching the N.C. State secondary" qualify someone for the NFL?
