09:05 PM ET 01.09 | The Sacramento Kings appear to be on the move to Seattle. The Maloof brothers are close to finalizing a deal that will sell the team to Chris Hansen, a Seattle investor, for $500 million. The franchise would play in the old Key Arena for two years beginning in 2013-14, then move into a new arena after that. The deal is not done, but one source told Yahoo! Sports that the deal was at the "first and goal on the 1" stage.

Sorry to inform you of this, but the Thunder did not buy rights to the Supersonics name...so technically, the Thunder is it's own entity. The Kings moving to Seatle may be the same sort of deal.

Cleveland would have liked this logic for the Browns/Ravens. Oh well.
