Marcus Vick heads back to jail for contempt of court

02:20 AM ET 01.10 | Marcus Vick, the younger brother of Michael Vick, made headlines late last year when he took to Twitter to bash the Philadelphia Eagles on Michael's behalf. Marcus acted alone in his Twitter rant, but now he's acting alone in another setting: contempt of court. Vick reportedly has been sentenced to five days in jail after he failed to provide adequate documentation for his financial situation prior to a court-imposed deadline. This isn't even the first time in the last year that Vick has been held in contempt. Back in March 2012 he was sentenced to up to 10 days in jail for the very same charge. Vick is one of the classic examples of someone who could have been something and threw it all away. He's a cautionary tale to not only young players in the NFL but also to young players in high school and college. Just because you haven't made it yet, doesn't mean you can't still throw it all away.

Racist? Doesn't matter what color he is.......................he's a piece of trash. Been arrested for brandishing a gun (no license of course) driving without a license at least twice, failure to appear in court (at least twice).Arrested several other times in Virginia as well as I recall. What a joke.

Watched him in high school and in college. He has a serious reputation through out Hampton Roads(Newport News, VA Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Chesapeake, VA) as being a self important jerk. He throws his brother's name around like it means he should be bowed down to.....if you think for a second that those re the only run-ins with the law that Marcus has had your crazy! He started getting arrested in HS- but because his brother was the star QB for VaTech the local police and DA's were very kind to him. He better watch it he is going to end up with a stark dose of reality like his brother got, and end up in a prison for a few months......
