Brady losing postseason magic

07:49 AM ET 01.10 | Only the Texans stand between Tom Brady and the NFL record for postseason wins, which he currently shares with Joe Montana. Though Brady's place as a future Hall of Famer is really just a matter of paper work and rubber-stamping, the cold, hard football facts are that the modern-day Tom Brady isn't the postseason lock that he used to be. Again, this is not opinion, but fact: In his last 12 playoff games, Tom Brady is 6-6. Now you can twist those numbers to your heart's content. ... The reality is that Joe Montana played in four Super Bowls and won all of them. Brady has played in five Super Bowls and won three of them. If Brady wins another Super Bowl, surely there will be people who'll chirp that Montana retired undefeated in pro football's Big Game.

The reality is that the line play has let Brady down the last few trips to the Superbowl. I will give the Giants credit for outplaying us on both the OL and DL.
And then there's that defense...
Brady is fine, but he only plays one position.

As somebody once said "he can't throw the ball AND catch it"...and as DD wrote, his line has done him no favors in the last 2 SBs.

Brady at 50% is still more QB than a lot of teams have between starter and backup, combined...

and then you have the jests....take ALL 3 of their QBs, throw in several 1st round draft picks to get the top QB prospects, and they'd STILL have less QB than Brady all by himself...

Coming from the rag the Herald, this b.s. is no surprise. Of that 6-6 record, a lot has to do with the poor defense the club has had in recent years.

12 playoff games aren't anything to sneeze at either. I'm guessing Peyton is the only other active QB that comes close to that.

But he wasn't as effective in that role as Fat Albert was.

umm,.....peyton's ''post-season'' record isn't that great,.....that's why he's still the king of ''regular-season''.
