08:07 AM ET 01.10 | Marian Gaborik says his shoulder feels fine, though he's not above knocking on wood when he talks about his health these days. Because coaches are not technically permitted to be involved in practices as of yet -- although coach John Tortorella was [at the Rangers practice facility] watching -- there is little to be made of who skated next to whom. But there were only three forwards wearing white jerseys yesterday, and that placed Gaborik alongside Brad Richards and new addition Rick Nash -- the kind of dream combination that makes any Rangers fan swell with anticipation. "[Nash has] proven himself in the league to be a great power forward, a great goal scorer," Gaborik said. "He's going to add not just scoring but overall power in our offense."

Sounds like a good idea for power plays, but I'm not so sure loading all of your scoring onto one line is the best strategy.

Early on the Pens have Sid and Gino together on power plays, at the end of a period and sometimes after a penalty kill. Its nice having the flexibility that way.

Well with a certain one of thems injury history, it's really just the RN line. And RN and injury kind of goes together.

Why would anything they say now matter? Torts changes the lines every shift and then wonders why there's no chemistry.
