04:15 PM ET 01.10 | In his first major move as general manager of theJacksonville Jaguars, David Caldwell relieved Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey of his duties. The team announced the move on Thursday morning. Mularkey lasted just one season as Jacksonville's head coach, and led the Jaguars to a meager 2-14 record -- tied for worst in the league. The Jaguars didn't play well in any particular area, ranking 21st in the league in passing offense, 30th in rushing offense, 22nd in pass defense and 30th in rush defense.

Normally I feel bad for coaches who get blown out of the water that fast, but it's true they sucked in every phase, so it'd be hard to trust the guy to improve things. If they'd made strides in any area it might have been a different story.

We will see what Caldwell accompliches, if the team let the coach go after one year, this guy might get 2!

They have a GM. Now all they need is a HC, a QB, an offense, a defense, and some special teams.
