Del Negro delays Hill's return

04:30 PM ET 01.10 | Considering the depth of the Los Angeles Clippers' bench, it'll be difficult for head coach Vinny Del Negro to find floor time to sneak returning forward Grant Hill into the rotation. Maybe Del Negro is putting off the decision-making. More likely, he's just being careful. Hill, who has not played for the Clippers after signing with them this summer, was not activated for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks, and Del Negro said he is simply taking his time. Hill has already returned to practice from a bone bruise. "I just want to give him a couple more days of conditioning and contact. Get his timing down," Del Negro said. "Obviously, he's been out awhile. We'll see how he does in the next couple of days and we'll make that decision."
