04:26 PM ET 01.10 | Thought to be a failed No. 1 overall pick, Greg Oden isn't done. The center who was selected first by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2007 NBA Draft is reportedly ready to make a comeback in the 2013-14 season. He has interest as well. Sources told ESPN that the Miami Heat, who could soon have open roster spots, have kept their eye on Oden. They could sign him this season as he continues rehab leading into next year, though even giving Oden a veteran's minimum contract would be another burden on an already tight salary. Oden is recovering from a string of knee injuries while taking classes at Ohio State. He most recently underwent a third overall microfracture surgery in February of 2012.

In the mean time how about more cellphone photos?

He needs to go to a team with a solid training staff and a need for his services. Why not PHX? Oden can't be any less productive than Michael Beasley, so why not take a gamble?

Hey, I'm skeptical, but if he is anywhere close to his former self, the Heat will completely lock up the title by signing Oden.
