07:00 PM ET 01.10 | Nate Silver's predicting things again. This time the statistical savant has cast his gaze upon Super Bowl XLVII. During a Thursday appearance on ESPN's First Take, Silver told the world that he is predicting a Super Bowl matchup between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

I would not bet against Nate Silver, that's for sure. Dude nailed the electoral college.

We can all make predictions, but Silver does it using data, and is usually right.

All I know is it's hard to believe Seattle will win it all, mostly because we've been through a million pro sports seasons here and the only hardware to show for it is one NBA title and one WNBA title. Some call us pessimistic. I call us observant. Sure would be nice, though.
