07:03 PM ET 01.10 | The Cleveland Browns are bringing in former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt for a second interview on Thursday, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer. Whisenhunt first met with the Browns' front office last week. If the NFL world is anything like the real-world, a second interview means the candidate has the job in the bag. Whisenhunt was fired by the Arizona Cardinals following a 5-11 2012 season in which the team started 4-0. He had been at the helm in Arizona since 2007 and took the club to a Super Bowl appearance in 2008. He lost that game to the team for which he used to serve as the offensive coordinator, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Why in the hell did the Cardinals fire Whisenhunt? The guy is pretty good, and the Cardinals' problems stem primarily from having **** QBs, not the head coach.
Give the Cardinals an average QB, and they'd be in the playoffs.

Apparently they thought Rob Chudzinski was a little better. Supposedly, they will announce his hiring tomorrow.

Hiring Chudzinski is a very Cleveland-like move. The Carolina offense underachieved all year, with Newton trying to carry a bad squad on his back. And that's the guy you pick?
