05:58 PM ET 01.11 | Marty Mornhinweg is a candidate for the New York Jets' vacant offensive coordinator position, reports Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. According to Mehta, Mornhinweg could be interviewing sometime Friday. Mornhinweg was the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator for the last seven seasons under head coach Andy Reid. He finds himself in limbo after Reid was fired following the Eagles 4-12 season. While Mornhinweg's offense struggled this season, averaging just 17.5 points per game, the Eagles' offense has been among the league's most productive in recent years. They finished in the NFL's top 10 in total offense five times under Mornhinweg, and in the top five three times.

Marty shot an elephant in his pajama's. How the elephant got in his pajama's are still a mystery. Not as big a mystery as to why the Lions made this guy a head coach. that is a mystery.
