10:08 AM ET 01.12 | The Knicks' depth on the frontline has now reached crisis level due to Rasheed Wallace's slow healing from his stress reaction in his left foot Wallace will start running next week and could make his return in London against his former team, the Pistons, according to a source. The Knicks had made an inquiry into Kenyon Martin, the unrestricted free agent and former Nuggets teammate of Marcus Camby, J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony. Knicks personnel director Mark Warkentien, the former Nuggets general manager, is pushing to make the move, but the Knicks would have to cut a player. The Knicks will give Wallace every opportunity to get back on the court before making such a move. The Knicks prefer not to cut James White because he is a stout perimeter defender and can defend the likes of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Mike Woodson said he will talk with GM Glen Grunwald about the roster but said, "for now we'll stay put."

Knicks better push for something because they need some help up front. They are starting to show signs of an impending losing streak.

they have to do something

5-8 in their last 13 and back to back losses against rival teams Bulls and Pacers

Kidd 0-6 last night for 0 pts

they are only up 2 games from being the 7 seed....

its all coming crashing down..

January 12, 2013  11:31 AM ET

honestly- they will be the 7 seed very soon if their losing ways continue

if they got 5-8 in their next 13 games like they have in their last 13? 7 seed....1st round knockout...same old song

they have exactly 2 good players- Melo and Chandler

Deng outclassed Melo last night no doubt about it

Melo plays good offense, Chandler good defense...

is anyone else on the Knicks any good? I mean, Jr Smith is an ok offensive player when he isnt just chucking it...Kidd is a good leader, but the rest of his game is crap from what it used to be, Felton is fat and out of shape and keeps getting hurt

did anyone think the Knicks were erally gonna shoot 40% from 3 for the year? all this happens to be is a regression to the mean....
