Sabres' Ryan Miller blames Gary Bettman

10:53 AM ET 01.12 | After rejoining his Buffalo Sabres teammates on the ice for the first time in some nine months, goalie Ryan Miller had a few lingering frustrations to get off his chest regarding the NHL lockout. "The best thing to do is acknowledge that it was stupid ... useless waste of time," Miller said yesterday. And he laid the blame on owners, specifically singling out commissioner Gary Bettman, whom he accused of being the reason why the four-month lockout wasn't resolved sooner. "In my mind, it always had to be January in Gary Bettman's mind," Miller said. "Obviously, he had something in his head and he was going to see how far he could take it. So there's really no going up against Gary, when he has something in his head."

The league showed its desperation by signing a deal they didnt want........and Fehr showed the league that he wasnt the lil kid at recess to f__uck around with.

The only thing Bettman did was hurt his Brand... all the while not getting what he wanted (what he really wanted is still up for debate)...
The League still doesn't have a Major Network deal (cancelling a season in '04 will do that), is still operating in Markets it doesn't belong and still has owners willing to shoot themselves in the foot.
Any Bets on what's gonna happen when this CBA expires?

The league signed a deal which was basically the same deal the PA presented the first week in December. And I am sure this is a deal the PA would have given a few months before that, but the NHL spent have their time saying take this deal or forget it. That is 100% his fault.
