01:15 PM ET 01.13 | Now that the Denver Broncos have been eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is a wanted man. McCoy is the team's offensive coordinator and has been a hot name in the coaching carousel but he is now more available than ever for teams looking for their next head coach. One team to watch out for is the Arizona Cardinals, who are expected to target McCoy. The team's defensive coordinator Ray Horton would be Arizona's fallback plan if McCoy does not wind up coaching in the desert.

The way Denver called their offensive plays with the season on the line, I wouldn't want him.

Why not? He made Tebow look good for a season and in the post season.

So - you didn't find running down the clock with :30 and two time outs left an effective time management ploy?

That was John Fox. And it shouldn't surprise anybody. He's one of those guys who always coaches not to lose instead of coaching to win. The funny thing is, he's always surprised when it backfires on him. Every single time.

Ray Horton is the only remotely decent option the Cards have even looked at so far so it would make sense for them to try and screw that up.

Exactly... Add to it a HOF QB with 30 seconds and 2 timeouts - even worse clock management.
That was terrible and the HC should be raked over the coals for it!

YUP! Tried to tell the rest of the world this...he was the same way for 9 seasons here in Carolina and it got old. His conservative style and unwillingness to play young players along with his constant coach speak to the media led to his firing, not to mention an under .500 record, NO back to back winning seasons and 3 playoff appearance in 9 seasons..He lucked into Tebow and Peyton but when the game comes down to his coaching, you see what happens

Leaving a team with Peyton Manning at quarterback for the current options Arizona has... it will be interesting to see what Mike McCoy decides.

Oh, please, please, please.... TAKE HIM. Get him the hell out of Denver, and let Manning call his own game. And for god's sake, take John Fox with him.

It's pretty well known that Tebow checked off McCoy's calls and pretty much improvised his way to a playoff win, no matter how ugly it may have been.... Any team that thinks McCoy is the answer is doomed to failure.

Since the Bidwills are doomed to failure due to their incompetence, it sounds like a perfect match in Arizona.
